Cynthia Weil, trailblazing lyricist who co-wrote such enduring hits as You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ – obituary

Interesting read and backgrounder. I was thinking of Goffin and King as another song writing duo and how later Carole got to sing her Tapestry - then I saw the reference to Goffin / King and the photo of Carole with Cynthia (and the pressure of fashion trends and hair styles for the time). "... in the evenings worked with Carole King and Gerry Goffin, who taught her to be less sophisticated in her lyrics and more commercial."

I clicked on the video of Elvis and was intrigued by how he handled singing with the help of the sheet of lyrics
My thoughts from reading the obituary in The Telegraph
And I see where Scott Hughes sent me another link on Cynthia Weill, saying 'this is better'
